Well. There are so many things changing in my life right now, I figured I should add one more:)
Ever since Brian and I first got married, we knew that God had something for us, that would be stretching, exciting, and life changing. For a long time we prayed about it, and felt like we were in a time of learning, waiting, experiencing, and preparation (which we still are, more so now than before). God has given a glimpse of part of his plans... a few months ago we were driving home from an evening full of grocery shopping when Brian popped the question, "How would you feel about me going back to school?" That's where it all started:). I of course was ecstatic. My husband is brilliant. I've bragged to my friends that whenever they need a question answered, they can ask him and he'll answer it for them. And it's true. He is so smart. I rememeber when we told his parents, and his mom sighed so loudly and said "It's about time!".
So, yesterday, we packed up or precious little house in Amish country, and moved 45 minutes away into the wonderful city of Canton, where Brian will be starting school next week. We have a cute little house just a few blocks from Malone (his University), and we LOVE it here. It has three bedrooms (plenty of room for when we start adding kids to the mix...), a nice living room, dining room, and kitchen. And there's a small backyard for Murphy to run around in. Plus, we live close to everything, instead of 15 minutes away, which will be very very nice.
And that's just part of what's going on in our lives right now. It's stretching, and a little overwhelming at times, but I'm loving it, and can't wait to see what else God has in store for us. God is so good, amen?
Brian, I am proud of you. You are courageous, brave, and passionate. I could never do what you're doing. It amazes me to see you so excited about something, and brings tears to my eyes to see your enthusiasm and drive when it comes to the years ahead. My love, you can do it, and i'm behind you every step of the way.

Thank you for your gracious comments about me, though I hardly deserve them. You are amazing.
I am so excited you have a blog! And Brian, I am so thrilled along with Kris that you are doing this! Both of you are such wonderful people and I'm so excited for this next chapter.
